Already have the toll free number, but use it on land line. I have been thinking about switching phones to cell for ease of use and when we are out of the office. Can I use my already exixting tool free number and have that switched to the cell number we choose??

for each question above about toll free cell phone service I still don't see the direct answer to their questions:
Can an 800 number linked to my cell phone number from att be answered by me or does it go directly into voicemail without me being able to answer the phone?

Why is it a purchase for cell phone 800 number prior to being able to view the manual? Seems to me this may be more difficult than the generic limited replies above?

Matt,

What they said is correct, but you have to put the emphasis on THEY. They said, THEY don't do that. That doesn't mean it can't be done. They just don't do it.

Fortunately you don't have to rely on a cell phone company to send calls to your cell phone. Any company can. We often recommend PNG or one of the enhanced voicemail services for that because they have no problemm with it. We include the form for PNG in the toll free manual that you receive after you activate the number and there's a list of enhanced voicemail services in there too.

See http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/800-numbers/cell-phone#post-2843 for more.

I called ATT wireless b/c I have an ATT cell phone and I asked them about 800 numbers and they said that they dont do that. But after seeing this blog I guess it doesn't matter what they say right? Your company can do all the work and have my custom 800 number linked directly to my cell phone right? Also I moved from FL to CO and have not switched my area code. Will the calls I get from the residents here in CO be long distance calls or does the 800 number do something so that they are no longer long distance calls? Thank you so much for your time and help. My business is depending greatly on the service you can possibly provide for me. Thanks again.

Sheryl,

Absolutely! Any number you find available can be pointed to any cell phone number. Most cell phone companies are pretty dumb about toll free service but fortunately you don’t need to use the cell phone company to get the calls to your cell phone. Just like any phone company can send calls to your cell phone, any company can provide the toll free service going to your cell phone.

One of the best options we recommend is PNG. They do a great job and don’t care at all that it’s a cell phone. It’s 3.9 cents per minute and $2.99 per month. It’s a good deal and I always tell people that it’s smart to start by sending the calls to your cell phone. If your business or needs change in the future you can always change the ring to number. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or need help with anything else.

Hi Jason!

You can certainly forward a toll free number directly to your cell phone. From the cell phone companies point of view, it's just an incoming call and you don't need to even talk to them. You can have multiple toll free numbers pointing to your cell phone.

If you were asking if you could point your toll free number to multiple local numbers or cell phones, you probably need to look at the Enhanced Voicemail services. They can try you at multiple different numbers and take messages etc.

I am VERY interested in using your services. I am a cell phone based business, run my "office" out of my home, or wherever I am for that matter. Questions: Can I receive calls to my cell phone that are live or are they only forwarded as messages? Can I have multiple cell phones be forwarded with LIVE calls?

The Keyword emails often get filtered and put into your spam folder. That is probably what is happening, why you're only getting some of them. The others are either in your spam folder or are being blocked bf they even get to you.

You don't need to decide what service you want before you find and activate a number. We give you information on options and try to help you with that in the Toll Free Manual you get after you activate a number. We're also putting that information and more in the Providers section but unfortnately that isn't done yet.

I really would like you to help me find a toll-free number that I could use (and like)!

I've tried your "look up!" above a few times. Sometimes it sends stuff. Sometimes it doesn't.

How can I keep searching without bothering you until I find one. I am serious about purchasing a number (at least at the lowest rate - unless a spectacular number comes up.

Thank you for your service. I would also like to know who does the 2.9 service with no fees! :)
