Thanks for the service. I was skeptical dealing with individuals online that I was unfamiliar with. In fact, I toyed around for about a month, though I had my sights set on 1-877-FOR-WRITERS for some time.
When I finally pursued the name in earnest, I was amazed that within less than a minute after my credit card was authorized, 1-877-FOR-WRITERS was operational and directed to my home phone. When I called Bell South yesterday to swap the temporary service over to a permanent provider, I told the Bell South representative how this had all transpired. He was absolutely amazed by the story.

I spent the better part of a day looking for 800 number service providers and trying to find a suitable and available number. Then I found TollFreeNumbers.com. All the information, the tools to search for a number, the shared knowledge is incredible! I could have saved many hours if I had know about this site.

Our business puts us in contact with a number of service companies, particularly companies in the marketing and advertising field. Rarely if ever have I had the opportunity to work with a company that provides as much sophisticated data prior to an actual purchase. The ease of navigating your site encourages additional purchases.

I had been going back and forth with my phone company for 2 months to get a toll free number with no success. I came to your site and within less than 5 minutes I got my toll free number connected and routed to my regular phone number and ringing. Thanks for such a good service.
Sincerely,

I was extremely happy with your service and would recomend you to any business large or small. I am currently using "Cellular 800" at your recomendation because we are using cell phones for our business at this time. I will definitely use your services when we decide to expand our operations and need a more extensive 800 network.
Thanks again.

I want to thank you for going the extra mile to make sure that my toll free number transferred correctly. Through your service, I got a fantastic number (TO-MY-MEMOIR) that will be great for my autobiography business. I had some problems when I tried to transfer the number to PNG, but with your help, the number is working now. I appreciated the advice that you gave in your website, and found the whole process to be much easier than I had expected. I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking to get a toll-free number.
Thanks again,

I have been using toll free numbers form several years now but was totally clueless as to the best way to acquire and use these phone numbers. Your services are invaluable and I am proud to be counted among the legions of satisfied customers. I will be using your services again in the future and I highly recommend your services to anyone needing a toll free or vanity number.

Actually, you can point a toll free to a toll free with the carrier. The problem comes in losing the data between the two toll free numbers. If you are trying to track your calls or terminate at a call center, they won’t have any statistics available. We’ve had a company do this for us before.

No, you can’t point a toll free number DIRECTLY to another toll free number, to be more exact. The only way it’s possible is to either forward a toll free number to a local number that you forward to the second toll free number or to use an enhanced voicemail service which essentially points the toll free number to a voicemail platform which then forwards the calls out to the second toll free number.
Enhanced voicemail services can forward to a toll free number because it’s not actually pointing the toll free number directly to the second toll free number. Either way it has to go through an intermediary step because you can’t point a toll free number directly to another toll free number. The caller id information can be lost in this process because the caller id of the intermediary number may be sent to the secondary TF number.

How about this… If my toll-free # rings to my local #, can I use my local #’s call-forwarding to receive ALL calls (local and toll-free) on another phone (cell, etc.) when I’m away? I’m guessing, yes, but please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, any features that work on the local calls will work on the toll free calls. (ie. call forwarding, voicemail, roll overs, caller id etc)

Is there an existing tariff that prohibits transfer of 800 toll free calls
to another. I understand your logic,
but where is it written?

It’s not a rule, as much as just a fact of life. It’s just not physically possible to do, it’s not that we’re just not allowed to do it.
