Alternatives

One of the most important parts of the lookup is the Alternatives section.  It’s important because the exact match of what you’re looking for isn’t usually available.  Like the Keyword Search results, the numbers in the Alternatives box, were either in disconnect or available in the monthly database from the first of the month.

When you click on any of the alternatives it launches a new search in the Instant 800 Lookup for that term and gives you the live results and the options to activate or backorder them depending on the status.  They usually have more than 7 digits too.  That’s probably kind of obvious since most queries have 7 or more digits to start with, so in order to come up with other options you have to put something in front of your query.  For even more alternatives be sure to use our Keyword Lookup that checks thousands of numbers for most queries and emails you a thorough list of options.
