3rd party numbers

We have been slowly building a list of third party numbers that may be available. These are not numbers that we have any influence or say over. They often aren’t on our Resporg. They are owned and controlled by other unrelated 3rd party organizations that have simply asked us to list them and given us an email address to forward inquiries and offers to.Â

Forwarding your email is our only involvement. We do NOT act as a broker or intermediary of any kind. We cannot negotiate or tell you what to offer or whether to work with them or not. We do not endorse or support them. We also cannot make them respond to you and your offer.Â

We don’t get any specific commission from this either. We do this simply to provide a value to customers and owners, and because I see our role as a matchmaker of sorts. We simply suggest that each party make a voluntary contribution appropriate for the value that this was to their organization.

      We can list them in case someone asks for that number or something close to it that brings it up. To list them just email me your information and the numbers. But we can’t go and resell (or “broker”) them.

      We don’t resell our numbers or other people’s numbers. No body really does that partially because of the regulations but also because it’s a lot harder to do than you would expect. It’s kind of like trying to resell custom mixed paint. It’s hard to find someone that wants that particular color, especially when you don’t have a store and have to go door to door.

      Ebay is one of the possibilities that could work. There’s enough people that you might just get lucky and sell your custom mixed paint there. Numeric numbers like that probably tend to work better on ebay because they will appeal to a broader potential population than highly targeted numbers would. I hope that helps.

        Our toll free numbers are accessible nationwide by default. You can add Canada or a few territories mostly in the Caribbean too if you want, although they cost a little more. The simple way to explain it is that you can’t call a toll free number in the North American Numbering Plan from anywhere that you have to dial a country code to reach the US. Unfortunately there is no great solution for worldwide toll free numbers. On the other hand since there’s no common world wide toll free system


        There are UIFN numbers but they have to be set up country by country. You can also set up separate toll free numbers in many countries or work with a service that has different local access numbers already set up in each different country. But none of that is as easy as regular toll free numbers are here. Most people who do business outside of the US, list a local number and their email address. You could also use a service like skype to get a US number which would allow you to get through on a US toll free number. You could also use one of the click to talk services like GizmoCall.com which would allow someone to download a small program to access the US numbering system through the Internet.

        When I got my HP laptop, it came with a whole booklet of contact numbers. I laughed because that really illustrated that there is definitely no simple solution to receive calls worldwide. But you can forward calls from within the North America to almost anywhere in the world. This is very helpful for companies outside of the US looking to expand within the US. Al of these companies can forward toll free service basically anywhere in the world and control it with a portal.
