No, toll free numbers aren’t becoming less valuable at all. The number of numbers in use hasn’t declined nor has the number of advertisers or amount of calls from what I can see. It’s certainly harder than ever to get good vanity numbers and more and more even small companies are realizing that they need a memorable number.
The internet hasn’t decreased the value of or number of retail stores really has it? It hasn’t really decreased the amount of much, except maybe the circulation of newspapers. It’s increased the options and amount of communication. Don’t you feel more comfortable buying from a website that has a toll free number? Anyway it’s pretty clear that, your theory really isn’t any more than just a theory.
