What numbers to Pursue
One of the most important things you need to figure out in the process is the understanding of what numbers NOT to pursue. This can be hard advice to follow, but it’s definitely harder to ignore it and waste all your time and effort pursuing a number or numbers that aren’t possible.
The simplest rule to give you is NOT to pursue numbers that are Reporg Locked. Those numbers are “locked” for a reason. I realize that eliminates about 2.5 million of the best numbers, but it’s only about 10%. And it’s hard enough to pursue numbers that you do have a slight chance with, pursuing ones you don’t have any chance with just isn’t worth it. So don’t waste your time on the ones that are “Locked”.Listen to Yoda
I also feel a bit like Yoda, when I say this next line, and it’s corny but it has to be mentioned. And that is to use your power wisely. I’m sharing a lot of very advanced tips and tricks here and you need to understand that these are to be used sparingly and only in the right situation.
The toll free word is not very clear and organized. A lot of numbers get stranded and abandoned in the system. And it’s in everyone’s best interest to have a way to find and recycle the trees that people need when they’re lost in the woods. But like any tool or capability, there is a right and a wrong way to use it. Do NOT go climbing or cutting down live trees, so to speak, of an occasional dead one in the woods. I know you may have to be persistent and fight your way through bureaucracy but please don’t ever give any phone company representative a hard time because it will usually come back to bite you.
