I really am giving away insider secrets

I built my business as a consultant for large advertisers getting the hard to get vanity numbers for them for thousands of dollars. But as my business evolved and we developed better tools and automated the type of research we did for high end customers my business changed. Instead of getting a couple numbers a month for several thousand dollars, now we get a thousand numbers a month for fifty bucks, which ultimately means that I can’t do the consulting that I used to do.

That also means I can now give away a lot more of the really best secrets and insider information. There really isn’t anyone else doing exactly what I used to do, as a consultant. There are a couple people that use similar approaches but they do them to get good numbers that they can sell for as much as they can get rather than doing it for a flat consulting fee like I did. And believe me, they aren’t going to be happy that I’m giving away for free to the general public information on how to do what they still charge tens of thousands of dollars for.Â

To Judith, Chris and Loren, and the rest, I’m sorry. But there are an awful lot of business owners out there who will be able to use this information to get truly great brand name numbers with this information that wouldn’t have paid the outrageous fees of the vanity number squatters. And my goal has always been to help as many people as possible get great vanity numbers so that’s what I’m doing!

    If you use an enhanced voicemail service or any system for all your calls that also detects fax tones, but you don't need the fax detection you should consider turning that feature off, if possible. Background noise or things can sometimes make the fax dection system think a regular voice call is a fax call. It is pain to the caller the first time, but if they hang up and call bck again, and the same background voice triggers the fax tones again, they're probably going to give up and may never call you.


    If you need the fax detection, that's fine. But many people have seperate fax lines so they really don't need the detection system which could malfunction. This is just a very small tip, but it might be helpful!

    Like everyone else I heard that vanity 800#s were good for business but when I called Embark, my phone company for a vanity number it was like talking to my kids in the morning to 'get up'...I got no answers.
