Thank you so much for your service. I had only a couple of questions during the online process; which was simple, and when I called and spoke to you I had everything figured out in just a few minutes. I looked at several different companies for my toll free number and I'm very glad that I chose the best! Thanks so much.

Thank you SO much for making the process so easy! I was searching for a vanity number and your site was by far the most detailed/comprehensive of all that I researched. I placed my order for 1-877-247-FLIRT, and it was working immediately. The number adds such a great value to the site. I would recommend your services to anyone. I'm glad you're listed at the top of the search engines - now I understand why! Thanks again.

Bill and Staff have been tremendously helpful. They really have gone out of their way to help me find and secure numbers that would work for me. Their system is so easy to use from a search standpoint, and their guidance throuout the process is greatly appreciated. My thanks also goes out to Rita-you were a lot of help to me and are a valuable asset to Bill.

Thank you very much for your professional rapid service. We are in the long term care insurance business and having a premium 800 number for our business is a must. We were so impressed with the turnaround time in getting our number up which was a matter of hours NOT days like other companies I’ve used before. We will be back and you are one business we’ll be recommending.
Thanks again.

Desperately needed this level of service. We are located out of small tellco who still have the advantage of monopoly. Their Band B & Band C rates are through the roof. Our obvious choice for our large service area was 800 number service through Hosted Virtual PBX. Now we have our company recognition have the best of both worlds: Company recognition at a price a startup who needs this service can afford.
Website and database concept is outstanding and works incredibly well. Keep up the great work!

A friend told me about your site and I found it really easy and simple to use. I have to say how glad I am you have your site because of how many combinations I tried before I found what I wanted. I Found the number 888-WeAllDance and within 1 hour it was activated and I am ready for business!
I recommend this site for everyone!

I’ve looked up an 800 number i want online and through 800 directories and no company or lead comes up. Should i just give up on this one?

Looking up the number on the internet is one of the items I included above, but it’s just a small part. There are other things you can do if you really need to. It is very hard and most people should honestly look for a number that’s available rather than beating themselves up to get a number that isn’t. But if you are going to pursue something, you have to do more than just search online.

Hey Bill!
Thanks for the great site.
Of course I waited too long on the number I liked and went back the next day…GONE! (1-877-FRUIT-NOW)..
We are new division of Sigona’s Farmers Market that is going to deliver fresh fruit to corporate offices for healthier snacks.
Anyway there is another number I like…
1-877-FRUIT-GO
but it says recently merged with a larger company…What does that mean…Is it likely that they will release the number because they are now part of a larger company that doesn’t need it?
Thanks

Jimmy,
You’re in the right place. The Consulting section certainly helps explain this process. But a post from just the other day actually hits this more directly. See: http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/blogs/search/long-shot.html The name is appropriate because it really is a long shot, which is the best way to describe it.
Unfortunately the 877 version is with a number squatting company called Rollinium which isn’t going to be very helpful. I think you’re referring to the 866 version though because that’s with Verizon which is the one with that description. You can give Verizon a call, but like I said, it’s a long shot.

Thanks so much for the reply–that is great service.
I don’t think I’ll even try…According to all your comments on your site, it is easier to just look for another number…
Thanks!

We have an 800 number that we have been for a number of years which is tied to a pager. We are looking into changing the pager company due to poor service. What is the process of changing the 800 mnumber to another paging system?

Frank,
You may be able to change it by just filling out a transfer form with whatever company you’re transferring to. Or the pager company may say that it was their number and that you can’t transfer it. You may want to ask the pager company what their policy and ask them nicely. If you have a good story they may want to help you and be willing to let you go.
