1-800 ARCHITECT
Do you have any numbers available now that are very simple and just use the word “architects” or “architect” in them?
Here’s the search results page for Architect. http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/list/ARCHITECT.html
There are several possibilities but only when you add additional words or phrases in front of a generic term like that. My question would be why are you limiting yourself to sure a generic term to begin with? If you were looking for a domain name would you limit yourself to domain names that contain the word Architect without much else?
A lot of people are tempted to start with or limit themselves to generic terms for their industry when they start looking for a toll free vanity number. But it usually doesn’t take them long to find out that those terms aren’t available, and even worse, that since they’re also the most common term in your competitors advertising, they’re also opposite of unique and memorable. The most important tip that I give people is to be more unique and creative, to think outside of the box and find something benefit oriented that ties into something unique to them that the rest of their advertising and their message.
Ask yourself if people are going to see your toll free number anywhere that they wouldn’t know from the context or the rest of your advertising, that you’re architects? And how many people are going to use you just because you’re architects anyway? To me the key here wouldn’t be to let them know what type of work you do. The key is to find something that will tie into the theme and message of your advertising, and what makes you unique.
If something obvious like that were available that would be fine, but you’re about 15 years too late for something that obvious and generic. But that doesn’t mean you can’t come up with something good that’ll work for your business.
