    Loren Stocker at Vanity International

    In the description for Loren Stocker’s company, Vanity International I describe them as a small vanity number broker with a pretty bad reputation.*

    * The word “Broker” does not specifically refer to FCC regulations. My description is only my own personal opinion based on about the decade I’ve known him. My reference to having a “bad reputation” is also just my own personal opinion. It’s based on both my personal belief that he took possession of some domain names from a mutual friend, inappropriately and that he may have taken possession of some toll free numbers in a way some people would say may be inappropriate and might have done some things which could raise a few ethical questions to say the least.

    I’m being very careful in what I say for good reason, but I think it’s important to at least share a little bit of my own personal opinion in this case. He seems to have somehow taken numbers from people inappropriately, including 1-800 HOME-123

    He’s clearly the epitomy of a used car salesman, selling cars that don’t have any book value, to people who don’t know anything about cars, in an industry with little or no oversight. You’ll probably have a good idea what I mean if you talk to him. Just play your cards very close to your vest, if you know what I mean.
