Search for a good toll free number

Whether you’re in the US or Canada, the first thing you need to do is find a good number, which can be a little bit of a chore, even using our unique tools. We have a lot of information about this process including a whole Search Section of our website, and two different look up tools. The Instant 800 Lookup lets you check specific numbers and the Keyword Search is kind of like a search engine that can find all of the possible numbers related to the words and phrases related to your business or project (keywords).

Most visitors start with the Instant 800 Lookup because they come with particular numbers in mind. Unfortunately those are often the most obvious and generic numbers and the least likely to be available though. After you’ve tried a few queries in the Instant 800 Lookup, make sure you use the Keyword Search that does all of the research and sends you an email with the lists of disconnected and available numbers too. That’s an amazing tool and can make it much easier to find better numbers.

    I am a Canadian that would like to have my USA friends and customers contact my Cellular phone.
    I would like to provide them with an Toll Free number – which would then need to reach me in Canada.

    Can this be done?
    What would the cost be?
    How is the cost calculated?
    Can you offer options?

      Hi Allan,

      Any number you find with our website and look up tools can be used in the US or Canada. You can also point a toll free number to any local number including a cell phone. In Canada you have fewer options than you do in the US, and some of them won’t want to go to a cell phone. But some of them certainly can.

      The bottom line is that you can use any service you want with our numbers, because we’re not selling you the service, just hpg you find the best number and then transferring it to whatever company you want for the ongoing service.

      The cost would be determined be the carrier you use. I have a list of Canadian phone companies at the bottom of http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/canada/ You basically just pay per minute for the incoming calls as if you had made them yourself. We give you the ultimate guarantee of the most options, because we guarantee that you can take your number to any phone company you want at any time (as long as you pay your bill with whatever company you have it with).
