We’re BACK!! We have finally finished rebuilding the full website! It has been held hostage since last August. Our webhosting company of the past 8 years, shut us out of our own website as soon as they thought we might want to leave, demanding up to $25,000. We tried to pay what they were demanding but they wouldn’t take the money and shut us down and forced us to go to court. They were ordered to turn the site back on keep it on, and give us a copy of our data. Unfortunately what they gave us didn’t work. Then they reduced our bandwidth by 90% so the site frequently timed out or took forever to load.
We had to move on very short notice to a new server without our previous content or navigation, just the new look up tool. We continued to fight them legally, hiring experts and at the same time trying to rebuild the website essentially from scratch. We don’t have the almost 2000 testimonials since we were focusing on the main content and a couple of the categories and buttons in the navigation aren’t ready yet. We had to cut a few corners and use a slightly out of date version of some things. But we’ll keep working on it and expect to get the full version in a couple weeks as well.
It’s definitely been a struggle, but our customers and fans have all been very patient and understanding. If you see anything else not working properly please let us know. We may be able to tell you another way to do it and will definitely want to address it promptly. It feels good to be back and even better to be working with people who want us to succeed for a change.
