When Phone Companies Compete YOU WIN
You’ve probably heard Lending Tree’s slogan, “When banks compete you win.” Well we have a different version. When phone companies compete YOU win. That’s nothing amazing or new though. We’ve had the ability to select phone companies since the breakup of AT&T in 1984 and toll free numbers have available from competitive phone companies since the early 90s. But there’s something else, even more important.
You don’t want them to stop competing do you? How they perform AFTER you select them is actually a lot more important than how you think they will ahead of time. You don’t just want to be able to pick the best company for your needs right now. Even more important than being able to pick phone companies is being able to change 800 providers in the future if the one you pick doesn’t turn out to be as good as you thought or changes.
That’s what we give you that nobody else does. Other phone companies want to keep you there and hold you as their customer. Even if they don’t cheat to do it, that’s still their goal. We’re the only one that gives you independent proof of ownership which means that whatever company you use can’t say they provided the toll free number for you as part of their service so you can cancel the service but you can’t take THEIR number with you. By having your number active before you transfer it to them as long as you pay your bill for the service, you’re guaranteed to be able to transfer it away if the company that looked so good at first turns out to be a lot less attractive once get to know them.
Don’t get stuck with an overweight out of shape phone company. And don’t let them hold you hostage by your number. Once you’ve put your number in all of your advertising and spent money advertising and promoting the number, if you don’t have the ability to transfer your number you are essentially at their mercy. Your ability to transfer your 800 number is the best guarantee that that you can not only pick the best company now, but to keep them honest.
