We have a plan for people who don’t like Choice
I got a message from someone complaining that they have to chose a phone company after we set the number up for them. There is a simple solution to that. Here’s what I wrote to them:

Dear Mark,
If you think it would be better if I made you use a specific company I can make you stay with one company if you want. I’ll even make you stay with a good company, that’s cheaper and better than almost anything else you’ll find, Opex. I actually make it very easy to use them. I even fill out the form for you, in the toll free manual.
I just figured it was better to empower you so you would have a choice. Your choice is what ultimately keeps them honest and insures you always have the best price and service or you can transfer it somewhere else. If you think it’s better to have to stay with one company, than just email me back authorizing me to transfer it to Opex (2.95 cents per minute and $1.99 per month) and I’ll switch you. You can just pretend you have to stay there if you want. But at least this way, they won’t treat you like you have no choice because they won’t realize you have no choice. So this is actually even better, right?!
Now, I’m obviously being a little silly here but I hope you understand what I’m trying to explain. Having a choice isn’t a bad thing at all. It’s the most important thing but unfortunately some people often don’t realize that in the beginning when they’re busy and just don’t want to have to make any more decisions. The good news is that it should be an easier decision if you understand that you’re not stuck with that company, because you can change if they don’t do a good job or something better comes along that you couldn’t have foreseen. So my advice would be if you want an easy answer, would be to just try Opex and see if you like it. It’s the second to last page in the toll free manual that we emailed you after you activated the number. I can also resend it if you need it.
We’re very glad to help you and hope this helps make the choice easier which is probably what you were really concerned. Oh and if you don’t transfer the number away, you won’t lose your number. We’ll just hold it until we do get a request, for up to a year for free. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help with anything else. Or if you need us to decide anything else for you

Im starting up a bussiness in cooperation with a company, and they have asked me to to set up a 1800. Now you probably have the answer to this, but Im so frustraited rt now I just can’t find it.
I have a cell phone, since cell providors dont do 1800 or 188 number I have to look for an outside source. I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
As of now, the business is just starting up, so I want to find the best deal possible. There may not be a large call volume the first month, but that might also chage… that’s how it usually is Im sure.
I thank you for your help

I’m not sure what exactly what your question is from the message. It sounds like you’re asking, “How do we set up a toll free number forwarding to a cell phone? Or can we do that?”
The answer is definitely yes. It’s very easy. You can point any toll free number to any local number you want including a cell phone. First of all here’s our Toll Free Guide for Cell Phones. http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/800-numbers/cell-phone
But to sum it up, you start by finding a number you like that says it’s available, and you can click the activation process right online. It’ll ask you for the number you want and where you want the calls to be forwarded to. So just put your cell phone number there and fill out the rest of the information. We’ll set it all up, turn it on and send you the documentation.
Most cell phone companies don’t provide toll free service so you’ll have to use a company that provides stand alone toll free service or toll free only service. We include the form for PNG (http://www.TollFreeNumbers.com/png) in the documentation because they’re usually the one that we recommend for going to a cell phone or voip service. There’s more articles about this stuff on our site, but you were already in information overload so that’s the best simple summary. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or need help with anything else.
