I think we all understand that a lot of companies have had to tighten things up because of the economy today, and one of the things that seems to have disappeared throughout the toll free industry is toll free numbers with no monthly fee. That’s because it costs companies a little bit to provide a toll free number for a customer even if they’re not using it. And companies today are looking for ways to trim the fat so they can hold prices when business is down. So the services that used to offer toll free numbers with no monthly fee have pretty much disappeared.
