What are our fees based on?

800 number feesWe’re pretty much the Go Daddy of the phone number business. We do a huge volume of numbers compared to any other vanity number business because our prices are based on the cost of providing the service, not how deep we think the customer’s pockets are.

Nobody else in the vanity number business lists the price of their 800 numbers let alone has any consistent or flat price, because they are selling each number for as much as they can get or think they can get from each customer. We are the only ones that don’t base the price on the value of the number, the size of the customer or their advertising, or what we think other people might be willing to pay for it.

Our fee is $49 for any number in the Available pool no matter how good we think it is, or who is asking. We don’t play favorites and the prices are based on the cost of providing the service. We have to do a much higher volume of numbers than anyone else in the vanity number business just to cover the cost of providing this service but we think this is the best way to help the most people.

Some numbers are more expensive but that’s because they take more time and effort to provide than regular activations from the spare pool. All numbers aren’t the same (or the same price) or you wouldn’t need our service. If they were, you could just take the random number the phone company wanted to give you. A good number costs the same as a random 800 number for the incoming calls but a bad number can cost you a lot in terms of lower response rates to all your advertising for the life of your business. That’s why it’s worth taking the time to find a better number up front.

      We can definitely get you ‘800’ numbers, whether you’re referring to toll free numbers in general or 8-0-0 numbers specifically. 888/877/866 numbers from the available pool which say Currently Available when you look them up are just $49 and Random ‘800’ numbers are $79. Both are available and you find them with the Toll Free Search Engine on the top of the page at TollFreeNumbers.com.

      Those are the only fees. We don’t charge an ongoing fee, any transfer fee, or recurring charge of any kind. Whatever company you select and transfer it to will charge you a couple bucks a month and a couple cents per minute for the incoming calls. We’ll give you a couple good options with the toll free manual but you can take it anywhere you want at any time, which is what insures you’ll always have a good rate and keeps them honest.           There are no yearly payments or charges. You’re probably imagining it’s similar to domain names which have an annual fee. With toll free numbers, the resporg is similar to the registrar except that the resporg fee is just a part of the monthly fee. So all you have to do is keep it active with whatever company you want to use it with. And as long as you pay the phone bill you can leave any time and select any phone company you want.

          If you don’t transfer it we give you free parking for a year and it’s $18.95 per year after that if you don’t transfer it to another phone company.             When you helped us get our number several years ago you insisted we secure the domain names 1800reallaw and 800reallaw. Though we have not used them we have dutifully renewed them because of your initial insistence to do so. We recently expanded the use of 1 800 REAL LAW and almost accidentally and to our surprise found many competitors camped out with pay-per-click links to their websites on the Network Solutions page announcing that our site was "under construction" parking page.
