Why do the Misdial and Shared Use companies always get the best 800 numbers?

Regular phone companies are alseep at the switch and don't know what numbers to look for.

Regular phone companies have to wait for customers to request a number before getting it out of the pool. The big Mass Misdial Marketers and the Shared Use companies have their own resporg so they don’t have to wait for customers to request the good numbers. They just grab them up as fast as they can when they come out.

Regular phone companies are at a disadvantage because they can’t go figure out what numbers spell things and go after them. So the regular phone companies and their customers tend to just get the leftover numbers that the people in the vanity number business didn’t want.

The big misdial companies and the shared use companies have actually been spawning multiple resporgs lately. This seemed strange at first since they can make as many subIDs as they want. But I believe they figure that at some point new numbers may be rationed and they want to be able to get additional helpings of the better numbers.
