Next Step China organization

I got a call today from someone looking for an 800 number for their travel program. They specialize in travel to China and they only wanted the number that matched their company name. I told them what phone company had the number they were looking for and explained that getting a number that’s already working is a long shot and I explained how to use the look up tools to find a backup plan.

It’s very common for people to be stuck on the first idea they had which they assumed would be the best. I call that wanting to marry the first girl you meet. I helped them use the Keyword Lookup and tried to go through the usual list of 800 number options or things to look for.

It was great when I got their call and they told me they had found and just bought 877-NIHAOCHINA, which means Hello China. I thought that was a good example of creativity and an example that shows when you come up with more creative option they can definitely be as good or even better than the first number they thought they needed.
