I found your site to be the easiest and most straight forward of the 1800 vanity sites I visited. I placed my order and within minutes I had a working 1800 number (1888SUNFANS). We sell solar fans and we think this number will work well for us. My company is based in Hawaii and we were the proving ground for the solar fan industry. Now that the industry is doing well nationwide we are setting our sights on the mainland US market.

I was clueless when I started seeking out a vanity number, but I knew it was imperative to get just the right number to start my business. Mr Quimby was very diligent in following up with available numbers. When I called Mr. Quimby answered the phone himself to my surprise! Exceptional customer service. Thank you so much. I would surely recommend him and this site!

I'm an attorney and I help people get out of debt, primarily with bankruptcies or other services and we're expanding into a new spanish speaking market. You helped me get the 800-FILE-AWAY phone number which matches our domain name. It's going to make some great advertising. Also recently I hired a couple of Spanish speaking assistants and you were able to get me 877 4 DEUDAS and 877 9 DEUDAS, which means Debts in Spanish. My assistants were very excited.
When I checked your website I found that there were only two permutations of DEUDAS left. You got them both for me instantly. My printer had the cards ready in two days and the advertising will go out in less than a week. I cannot tell you what a boon your service was for my me and my family.
What a blessing to the folks whom I will be able to help now in either language. Llama me, puedo ayudarte, mis numeros son, marque al 877 4 DEUDAS.
Sincerely,
David L Nelson

I ordered a toll free number from you (888 J DOBKIN) and just as promised it was up and functioning the next day. Without all the stories and run around you get from the phone companies. Thanks, Bill

I wanted to thank you for your personal attention and immediate response to my request. I figured being a small company and only getting one number, I would have to wait quite a while to get it set up and activated. But that was not the case. I was up and running in one business day. Thanks again for you help.

There needs to be a Phone Number Market. A place where people can go to sell or purchase a phone number. I suppose life is hard until someone makes it easier…

Even if there was, it wouldn’t make it any easier to see which numbers where available off the typical wish list, because most numbers wouldn’t be listed there even if there was a popular site for that.
Take the MLS for example. That’s certainly a very thorough list of available homes, but that doesn’t make it any easier to tell which homes are possible to buy if you contacted and negotiated with them. Even as popular as the MLS is it wouldn’t help.
There’s also an even bigger problem with your suggestion, the FCC. The FCC has regulations against hoarding and brokering numbers so even if someone contacts me with a great number, we can’t really act as a broker and try to sell it for someone.
That’s why we’re really not trying to be a central place to buy and sell toll free numbers as I think you’re describing. We’re more like the GoDaddy of the phone number business, just doing a good job as a registrar instead of just leaving that up to the hosting companies who do a lousy job of it.

I think the reason I had to write this article is because some people seem to assume that everyone and everything has a price tag hidden somewhere.
