Multiple Backorders
The best numbers are usually the ones in backorder and it’s not common for people to order multiple numbers in backorder. First of all you don’t need to place multiple backorders for each number individually.
You can place multiple backorders at a single time with a single backorder request by just listing the additional numbers in the comments field. We aren’t worried about getting $4.95 for every backorder. We’ll confirm the numbers and then do the research to see when they come out of disconnect and we can try to get them for you.
The purpose of that is to insure that customers are serious, to lock in the order in a secure third party shopping cart, to insure you’ve been through and understand the system and so that we have your billing information. All of these things are accomplished whether you place multiple backorders or a single backorder with all of the numbers you want.
Backorders can be canceled any time up until they come out of disconnect so many people backorder multiple numbers so that if we’re not able to get the first one, you have a second swing at the bat lined up. But if we get the first one and you don’t want any more, remember that you have the obligation to cancel any pending backorders.
The only thing to keep in mind is that we can’t change the order in which they’re pitched to us. We have to decide to swing or not swing on each pitch. So if your third choice comes out first you may want to cancel that to try for one of the other two first.
