A better faster lookup tool

Actually the vanity number lookup is only faster for numbers that are not “active” in every area code. It can’t technically be any faster than the central database search for numbers that are, were or will be available. But since most numbers are active, and especially most numbers that people search for are nearly always taken, it is definitely faster and more efficient overall. It also gives you more alternatives suggestions and even show you the disconnected and transitional numbers. These are often the best numbers but aren’t even possibilities on anyone else’s lookup and nobody else has any way to help you get them. (see Backordering Disconnected Numbers for more information).

    As a small Telco service provider and reseller. I recently found one of my Subscription based 1-800 service provider refused to allow my users vanity number to be transferred without loosing all rights to my users purchased vanity number should they decide to discontinue service with this provider. I tried talking with the subscription provider but got no where. I brought the situation to Bill who quickly sent off an email to the President of this service. The results were a complete reversal of policy.
