Thank you so much for the prompt, helpful, individual service! You delivered what was promised, quicker than promised, and personally followed up when we had questions. We were also pleasantly surprised and appreciative that you had saved us time by already filling out some of the necessary transfer forms for us.

Thanks for all your help Bill. I am still amazed as to how long AT&T is taking to make the transfer, but your service is great.(Wish it all could be this easy)

Thank You! I am not the person who usually handles this part of the business, so I thought it would be a difficult, bureaucratic mess. Working with TollFreeNumbers.com made my job easy and fun! Their search engine is fantastic, giving me ideas I had not thought of on my own. My new number is perfect!

TollFreeNumbers.com is a great service for businesses who need an Internet fax service with toll-free number. By allowing customers to own their toll-free number rather than just renting it, businesses can easily switch between fax services without having to reprint business cards and so on.

Being that catchy 800 numbers are so important to businesses such as my own, it was a relief to find a company that takes all the work and headache out of the process. Thank you!

Bill, this is a great business you have, its definitely a win-win for you and the customer. I can't stand those resellers who try to "lease" the number to you. I think you have an extraordinary business. Your numbers get turned on faster than AT&T

I called and spoke with you regarding my number selection last week. I was thinking too far out of the box. Your advice to find the “sizzle in what the number would do for the caller helped me refocus from something memorable to something meaningful and descriptive. My line is going to be used for audio listings of real estate extensions and “ZIP TOUR made perfect sense. I tried it and voila! I’ve reserved a website too with the same name so all my marketing is consistent.
The manual is terrific too. Answered all my questions, especially about the transfer of my number to the call capture service I use.

PS. Please don’t ask us to extend this sale or to change the price on any numbers that you ordered recently. That’s not how sales work. I gave everyone notice that we were having a huge sale on 8/8/8 in a post exactly one month ago.
We figured we try to set a record for number of regular activations within one day. Also please don’t try to use do more than 8 by using different names. That would just be taking advantage of us. If you get 8, you’re saving almost $350 already!

Hey Bill,
I have four or so numbers that I got from you about a year ago and was excited about your promo email that you sent. I too tried to activate 877 mygword and 888-4ecoist and although they showed available they would not activate. It said they were recently available but taken. Did they get “grabbed” by your system when I searched and that is why I couldn’t get it? Disappointed that I didn’t even get one number on your promo. Drat!
Best Regards,
Dan Pueppke

Amazing, now one # shows as available. I wonder what happened, some system reset?

When you do a search it puts a temporary hold on the numbers that it finds available. If you search again within two minutes or so they will show as unavailable. It sounds like that’s what caused tt one to pop back.
You may also be running into issues with the Cached database. See http://www.tollfreenumbers.com/cached if you’re looking at the 800 watch results versus the Instant 800 Lookup.
Correction, the system is down for about 25 minutes around midnight (EST) from 11:55pm until 12:20am. That is to preserve bandwidth for backorders that we’re going after and because most queries right after midnight time out and even if you got something our signup process isn’t fast enough to actually get it if another resporg is trying to get it. This caused problems for some people in the past. So we disable the Instant 800 Lookup for a few minutes. It used to say that it was disabled. But if the system doesn’t get a positive response to a number that was available in the monthly database it’ll say it was available but was taken recently (meaning since the beginning of the month). I think that’s whay you were actually running into.

I tried to activate 800 980-8004, before 11:59 PM PST, I clicked the instant activation after the search said it is available, then I clicked the larger red text that mentions the special $8.88 deal but could not find anywhere on the website to do the activation. Now that is past 11:59 PM PST, I figured out the the button was on the previous web page, but off the screen. I kept clicking the larger RED TEXT that was boldly sticking in my face. That got me nowhere. Finally, after midnight, I found the button to register.

I also tried to reserve 9808004, but just get an error when I try to reserve it.
I used you service a couple of years ago and was very happy with the whole process.

Ken,
We’re in NY so the time was in Eastern Time. I didn’t mention that here but that’s what we always use. I’m sorry you didn’t realize that.
I started to write out an answer to the people that were asking to be let in afterwards and decided to post it seperately so it wouldn’t get lost in the comments down here. It’s link above as well as in blog above this post.
The bottom line is that we run this business very straight. We don’t haggle over prices or bend the rules. It’s not because we don’t like you, but because we do like you. I hope that makes sense.
