I just wanted to thank you for your dedication to your customers. After I purchased my toll free number I called to verify it. The number was your direct cell phone. You were at dinner with your family I believe. I felt horrible for calling, never expecting a live voice on they other end. Overall we get about 50% It’s lower on 800’s though and higher on 866s & 877s.
We only accept 1 backorder per number. Anyone else is turned away. We update the database on the web servers every week or so, so after a few days the website will be updated and say it was already backordered.

How long does it take to get a number that has been changed and becoming available not one in disconnect for you to get?

Numbers that “have been changed recently” are numbers in disconnect. It’s just a different stage and it’s pretty much the same thing. They come out four months from the time they’re disconnected, the same as any other number in disconnect.
There’s a link in the description to backorder it and as soon as we confirm the number we’ll do the research and send you the Backorder Report and the exact date. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything else.

I tried to backorder a number which was not backordered before. You didnt take my order hat you said it was backordered already.
How can you persuade me that number was so good and it took your interest, you are going to take it for yourself.
I think you realize the number after i tried to backorder

We don’t hold anything back or second guess the value of numbers customers have backordered at all. The only exception is ‘800′ numbers ending in 000, which we block from backordering not because we want to get them for ourselves, but because they’re almost impossible to get and it’s not fair to get someone’s hopes up or take $4.95 for those. We don’t block internally any other vanity terms.
The only reason we won’t take a backorder is if the number has already come out of disconnect or if the number has already been backordered. We take backorders on a first come first served basis, and there are aboslutely no exceptions. We don’t play favorites or try to keep anything at all for ourselves.
You didn’t mention the number so I can’t speak specifically to that number, but I can promise you that you’re not going to find it available at some higher price on our site. We don’t do that or have any ultra premium numbers on the website or in person. So if Rita’s telling you it’s not available, it’s either already been backordered or it’s not in disconnect and available to backorder any more. There is literally no other cause.
If you want to email me I’ll check and tell you which it is. Unfortunately the numbers in disconnect can’t be updated in real time so that takes some human review of the orders but there is no human decision making about the value of your number. The best numbers have a lower probability of success and there’s a higher probability that they’ll be taken back by the old company or taken early by someone else cutting backroom deals. That may feel like it’s us not being willing to help you, but I promise you it’s not, not at all.
