A Backorder is an order, not a request or suggestion
You can cancel backorders up until the date it comes out of disconnect. We’re happy to provide a valuable service to our customers, but if we do the work and get the number you specifically ask us to, payment for the service isn’t optional. If you don’t cancel it before it comes out and we get it, we don’t have the option not to give it to you and you don’t have the option not of pay for it. You’re not getting first dibs on the number, you have ordered the number. So don’t backorder a number unless you are willing to pay for it, if we get it for you.
It’s OK if your business needs change but YOU have an obligation to let us know in writing if you wish to cancel your backorder. If you notify us via email we will reply and confirm your change. If you don’t receive any confirmation, resend the email and call to follow up. We have no problem cancelling a backorder for any reason BEFORE it comes out of disconnect and we invest the money, time and energy to get it. Backorders can NOT be cancelled or returned after we get them. We are willing to do the work to get the number you specifically order, but all we ask is that you let us know BEFORE we do the work if you no longer want it.
