What can I say! Now-a-days everytime you need service over the phone you're put on hold for 2 hours, transfered five times to other departments , it takes thirty tries and one month to accomplish the task. I have to say that working with you was headache free. You are on top of things and the service is very efficient. I would rate your service *****.
Many Thanks,

After looking around for a while on different 800 number sites I finally
stumbled upon yours. In minutes I had hundreds of possible 800 numbers and
most didn't even show up on other web sites. Instead of just getting 1
number, it was so easy we got 3. One was even back ordered and it was ours in less than a week. We are now set to launch our new product nation wide and just in time for the commercial to air.
Thanks for making it so easy!

Very helpful and informative site. I was able to use the lookup to get ideas and narrow my choices. Then, activation was truly intantaneous. Very impressed so far.

As a small Telco service provider and reseller. I recently found one of my Subscription based 1-800 service provider refused to allow my users vanity number to be transferred without loosing all rights to my users purchased vanity number should they decide to discontinue service with this provider. I tried talking with the subscription provider but got no where. I brought the situation to Bill who quickly sent off an email to the President of this service. The results were a complete reversal of policy.
Thank you Bill and I will continue to use your company for all our vanity number request.

I have truly enjoyed working with you in establishing the toll free number for my business. You were accommodating and personal, and that's the missing pieces in today's business affairs. Thank you for walking me through each step, with patience...another quality that I appreciated. I will refer you highly to others I meet along the way. And I must say, the most impressive act of the day was answering my call in your car at the end of your day. That's service that most cannot compete with.

Thank you SO much for making the process so easy! I was searching for a vanity number and your site was by far the most detailed/comprehensive of all that I researched. I placed my order for 1-877-247-FLIRT, and it was working immediately. The number adds such a great value to the site. I would recommend your services to anyone. I'm glad you're listed at the top of the search engines - now I understand why! Thanks again.

Hi Bill,
My name is Anna. I was trying to back order a number through your website and there is one question on the oder form I don’t understand It is “Initial LOCAL ring-to” What is it?

The Initial Local Ring to number is the number you want to ring when people dial the toll free number.

(This might be the first time I answered someone in fewer words than it took them to ask the question!)

There is a section on the activation form for shipping information. What is being shipped?

The shipping is just there in case you want to have the number listed in a different address than the billing information. We don’t ship anything, but that address will override the billing address of your credit card if you enter something different. That’s all.

How do I redirect this to another number once I begin using it?

You just contact whatever company you transferred the number to for the ongoing service. Some companies (usually the enhanced voicemail services) have a web control panel to change the ring to number. Most regular phone companies would require contacting customer service. If you’re changing the ring to number frequently you might want to use call forwarding from the local number it rings to.

I also emailed you about this, asking how I can reserve a phone number. I won’t need the # for another 18 months. Should I wait and search closer to that time? I’m a med student and can’t use any extra bills right now… let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
There are two great posts that relate directly to your question. The first is about the cost of waiting until the last minute, because you’re only looking at the cost of the service, and don’t realize the cost of waiting too long. The other post is called Fake it till you make it, because it covers the importance of having a toll free number ahead of time, before you launch the advertising.
It’s also cheaper than you realize just to have a toll free number. It’s probably a whole two or three bucks a month! That’s only about ten cents per day. So you don’t want to keep it on “reserve” you probably ought to go ahead and activate it.
We don’t charge anything of hold numbers but they can be considered abandoned after a year or two. So you wouldn’t want to leave it here for 18 months because that could wind up too long. We don’t have a specific deadline but you don’t want to leave them here either because that could cost you more than you realize, and having it ready will be worth more than you realize while costing you less than you probably thought.
The other point that I would make specifically to your situation is that if you find the perfect number you should get it because once it’s gone it won’t be available again. But you should also use the flexibility and time you have to your advantage. Use our Keyword Search at http://www.TollFreeNumbers.com/keyword/ and we’ll redo the research each month. There is a high turnover rate for toll free numbers so it might take a few months but eventually this will make it easy for you to be at the right place at the right time by just glancing at one email per month before you delete it.
I hope that answers the dif aspects of your question. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help with anything else.
